Description: Researchers of RoboticsLab are participating in the European research project HANDLE. The project aims at understanding how humans perform the manipulation of objects in order to replicate abilities and in-hand movements with an anthropomorphic artificial hand. The project would be explained to the audience through a talk and an exhibition which will be divided into two parts. Robot grasping and manipulation require knowledge of the scene, thus, the first part will involve visual perception system demonstration of our robotic platform (RGB-D cameras and PA10 robotic arm). During the second part, we will show how to operate a simulated version of the project anthropomorphic robotic hand using the data glove CyberGlove for remote operations.
